Biography

Prof. Shi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He got his PhD at the University of Virginia in 2016. He conducts empirical research on consumer choice and firm behavior in different markets, using new data and structural models. His research interests include Empirical Industrial Organization, Industrial Organization Theory, Applied Microeconomics, and Media Economics.
