2nd CUHK-IESR Joint Workshop on Applied Economics

The 2nd CUHK-IESR Joint Workshop on Applied Economics was successfully held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on November 13–14, 2025. The event was co-organized by the Department of Economics at CUHK and the Institute for Economic and Social Research (IESR) at Jinan University.

During the two-day workshop, 14 papers were presented and discussed. The presentations covered a wide range of topics in applied economics and reflected the latest research progress by scholars from both CUHK and IESR.

The event provided an important platform to facilitate academic exchanges and help establish potential research collaboration between the two institutions.
